I am not a ghost hunter~but I have an active imagination! I think this print did a fair job of relaying what the invisible action taking place in our world's graveyards might look like. I had my sister, the "ghost", walk a straight line from one headstone to another. I had her pause for brief intervals while I flashed her with a dimmed light. This 30 second exposure was the result. My one fault was shooting with 3200 speed film, which is exceedingly light sensitive and grainy. When I saw the contact sheets, it looked as though I was shooting in broad daylight when it indeed was more like 3 AM! Thus, the visual cloud patterns at night and the burned-in foreground.
Why...thank ye, darlink!! I feel so pleased and honored. I try to do strange, turn-yer-head-sideways-like-a-mutt type things with photography and I'm so happy that this caught your attention. I checked out your gallery too, and I really like your drawings! Their intelligent and funny--especially the girl who stole the pope! Thanks again for visiting...

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
